Gloria S. Friedgen is a Community Service Director for La Jolla
Country Day School where she also teaches General Biology and
A.P. Biology. She is currently designated a Master Teacher in
AP Biology at that school. Gloria received a BSE in Physical
Education and Biology from the State University of New York at
Cortland and an MA in Physical Educatio: Physiology of Exercise
from the University of Maryland at College Park.
Gloria is in the process of relocating to the Marietta, GA area
where she will teach Life Sciences at The Walker School. She
will continue her involvement in DNA technology for teachers
in conjunction with Dr. Ari Eisen at Emory University.
Gloria has received the 1997 Partner - Teacher Award from the
San Diego Science Alliance for her outstanding commitment to
enhancing education. |
