Jack K. Boshoven is currently the Manager of the Nuclear Waste
Processing Facility at General Atomics and Waste Manager for
the GA D&D Organization. Jack received his B.S. (1986) and M.S.
(1987) in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor. Upon graduation Jack joined General Atomics as a Nuclear
Engineer in 1988.
At General Atomics, Jack has also been involved in space nuclear
power reactor shielding and criticality design; was the Nuclear
Task Leader for the GA-4 and GA-9 Legal Weight Truck Cask Program
and the FFTF spent fuel storage cask; served as the Chairperson
of GA's Safeguard Management Review Committee; performed waste
classification and shipping analysis for Class C radioactive
waste; performed shielding analysis for GA's DIID fusion device;
and performed shielding and criticality analysis for a wide range
of reactor designs and concepts.
